BEAUTIFUL CIWIDEY: THOUSAND OF NATURE ATTRACTION

Subhanallah! That first word that I said suddenlly when I first came into Kawah Putih at Ciwidey, Bandung. The Kawah Putih in Ciwidey is definitely the "Must Visit" tourist destination near Bandung and recently this natural beauty has become one of the most favorite destination for couples from all across Indonesia to hold a pre-wedding photo session.

Ciwidey is a lush of mountainous area located in southern part of Bandung. Ciwidey has a thousand of nature attraction appeals to its visitors, starting from greenery of tea plantation, the irresistible strawberry field, the stunningly beautiful Kawah Putih (White Crater), the legendary Situ Patengan (Patengan Lake) and many other intersting nature attraction.

Located in Rancabali about 44 km from Bandung, Kawah Putih is volcanic crater with amazing and exotic scenery, which looks like a lake surrounded by mountains. The water is warm and has high sulfur content, and the sun's rays frequently change the color of the water from milky white into bluish green. It's often considered by visitor as part of heavenly beauty that has fallen to earth.

Located in between the Rancabali tea plantation and the Rancabali forest area, the lake has stunning nature scenery, this lake located 47 km south of Bandung.The lake is a lovely spot which is popular for weekend recreation. You can hire a row boat or water cycle and go around lake, or just stroll around and enjoy the view and cool mountain breeze. Looking over the lake from a higher place, you see the share is lined with tea plantations which look like a green carpet around blue water of the lake.
